But at least we know that it looks like the main cast will consist of Whitney, Erin, socialite Olivia Palermo, and Samantha (Sami?) – who will be the equivalent of Lo, Audrina, and Heidi to Whitney. It also looks like the show will feature a LOT of fashion, which could help differentiate it from The Hills.
But if we’re being honest, there will probably just be a lot of boy drama, cool restaurants, and some fights. Regardless, I’m pretty sure it’ll be great.
But movie talk aside, it’s great to see the 39 year old Aniston being talked about for something other than a “boo-hoo” story about her and a guy. Much like the press has jumped all over Lauren Conrad every now and again, it felt like everything we read about Aniston was related to relationships on the rocks or her doing something other than acting.
How quickly we forget that Jennifer Aniston is just a few years removed from being one of the biggest names in all of Hollywood. The woman that inspired countless numbers of haircuts looks like she’s back (and in incredible shape!) in the press’ good graces for her actual work.
But all that aside, most of us have since seen the magazine cover, but I thought this was a fun video – where Jennifer Aniston gives David Letterman the tie that she wore for the GQ shoot on his show. It’s great to see Aniston being the girl that made every guy wish that she was his girl next door.
Don’t get me wrong with this post, I think that Kanye West’s latest CD – 808s & Heartbreak – could be my favorite Kanye CD since his first album, but good lord, I’d be lying if I said that his performance of “Love Lockdown” on Saturday Night Live wasn’t a disaster.
What I like about the new CD is that the beats are so good that Kanye’s rhymes take a backseat to the incredible production value. While Kanye’s past couple albums have been heavily dependent on his lyrical ability, this album is completely different. Not only does Kanye sing, which seems to have led to some mixed results, but there are very few typical rap verses on the album. For all that’s missing in terms of lyrical content, there’s a lot there in terms of just great music.
So all this ruckus about USC losing two timeouts (just one) and giving UCLA an unfair advantage (even USC players sounded less than thrilled with the idea, according to the Daily News) really turned out to be nothing. Neuheisel leveled the playing field and unless the rules change, chances are Coach Carroll will do the same thing next year. The news about Neuheisel’s offer to choose tradition over a free advantage was a great move on the part of the UCLA coach. While he easily, easily could have taken the free timeout advantage, both teams now go into the game with no excuses in case an upset happens – and they do happen .
. For those unfamiliar with USC’s #2 receiver in 2007, Hazelton was one of the top recruits in the whole country and one of the biggest “gets” for USC on offense, but has been really outshined by Arkansas transfer Damian Williams this season – who has really outshined everyone this side of Patrick Turner this season.
In the end, it’s rivalry week – where people get to sit and argue about just about anything related to the two school – like who has the bigger party school (vote USC, just because it’d be nice not to lose this week). I’ll say that the Westwood campus is better, neighborhood is clearly better. USC still has the prettiest girls in the Pac-10 (I’ve been to 8 of the schools). And on education? Let’s just give that a push. If you got into either school, you’re probably pretty smart and half of college is about just being able to wake up and stay awake anyways because SAT scores stop mattering once you step on campus.
