Police are looking for this guy, William Balfour, who listed Jennifer Hudson’s mother’s house as a place of residence within the past year, who they believe could be with Hudson’s 7 year old nephew, who has gone missing. Balfour is apparently on parole for attempted murder.
Paris Hilton is capitalizing on her Funny or Die fame by releasing a music video called “Paris for President” on October 26, 2008. For better or worse (we’ll say worse), the full video will be released on October 26, 2008 (mark your calendars).
To build hype, we’d assume, 30 seconds of the video have already been released. “Commander in bikini” is one of the lines, take it for what you will.
tape early, the news is breaking late, but The Game was scheduled to perform with Ice Cube and Musiq Soulchild.
The Game has been a bit of a mystery lately with the release of his latest album, L.A.X. He had been quoted saying that his third album would be his last, but later said that he would release a fourth album entitled “D.O.C.” (Diary of Compton).
Personally, I really like The Game’s third album and hope that he continues making music and doesn’t move towards just becoming a producer. All drama aside, The Game’s talent is a bright spot in today’s hip-hop music and while his third album hasn’t yet gone platinum, he has the talent to keep making music for at least a couple more albums. Here’s wishing for a quick recovery for his sister, B-Fly.
”[People] look at this show to be inspired and think, ‘If I just work hard enough, I can look like that,” pro Louis Van Amstel says in the new issue TV Guide. “If they watch someone who’s dancing her butt off and she’s still heavy, they can be discouraged. You have to take that responsibility.”
One of the show’s popular dancers, Maksim Chmerkovsky added fuel to the fire by saying,
“When I first saw these women this season, I said, ‘Guys, you know the camera adds 10 pounds. You have to do something about this.’
While I’m a huge SYTYCD fan, I am generally not a big DWTS fan. So while I don’t watch DWTS religiously, I watch all Lacey Schwimmer and Lance Bass’ performances as if I was the show’s biggest fan.
Why?
Because Lacey Schwimmer is the hottest girl on TV right now.
, but MTV made it official by showing an official trailer for “The City.”
It looks like MTV fans are pretty split on the new series, which will take on the task that The Hills has done an incredible job of – making a very urban city look incredibly beautiful.
It’s a little weird to see Whitney playing Lauren in the new series as the main character. I said before that Whitney is not nearly as big of a “character” as Lauren was to Laguna Beach, so the “getting to know you” period is going to take a little bit longer than it took for fans to embrace The Hills. It reminds me a bit of how we didn’t really know Addison that well before Private Practice spun out of Grey’s Anatomy
It looks like the show will have a gay guy, which is a change of pace from Laguna Beach, Newport Harbor, and The Hills. We’re going to have to get used to watching Whitney make out, do more than be a wonderful friend who makes funny faces, and be the center of all the drama that will undoubtedly happen as Whitney works for designer Diane von Furstenberg.
On a good note, it looks like socialite Olivia Palermo will play a big part in the new show, as she’s not only featured on the trailer giving Whit Whit a dirty look, but she’s been seen around New York City filming with the next MTV star.
Diddy removed “Ebony and Ivory,” Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods from Danity Kane, one of the most successful girl groups in the music industry, in the season (series?) finale of Making the Band. Aundrea, Shannon, and Dawn are supposed to continue on in some form as DK (or perhaps get renamed, after we were all finally used to the name), in some sort of Destiny’s Child-like move that hypothetically has the chance of working.
The biggest problem is that by losing Aubrey and D. Woods, Danity Kane arguably loses its two most visible personalities. Fans have grown up watching the group for years now and will not accept the idea of anyone replacing Aubrey or D. Woods, nor will they support the group in the numbers that they’ve enjoyed in the past.
Diddy said that he wanted Aubrey to be the girl that he initially chose to make the band, not the person that fame had made her. He called her promiscuous and overly raunchy, but this isn’t the first time that Diddy has been less than thrilled about her image or rumors have gone around predicting a group breakup . Clearly, Aubrey was not the UC Irvine student that “made the band,” but she was arguably the most popular, yet the most polarizing (love her or hate her). While D. Woods is out of the group, almost by association, seeing as she was the closest member of the group to Aubrey.
Who knows what’s in store for Aubrey, D. Woods, and what’s left of Danity Kane, but something tells me that the parts won’t nearly reach the heights of the whole.
I will be shocked if Diddy breaks up Danity Kane at this point. I could eat my words on this, but I think that Aubrey, Aundrea, and the girls will end up staying together.
Danity Kane has had two consecutive platinum albums and they’re the first ever female group to have both their debut and sophomore albums debut at #1 on the Billboard charts.
Not bad for a group made on TV, right?
Another scenario is that DK could break up into two groups – the “Ebony and Ivory” of D. Woods and Aubrey O’Day, along with the trio of Shannon, Dawn, and Aundrea.
And of course, they could just break up, which would be the most shocking result of all. Some of the magic surrounding the group has definitely been lost now that the fans know that the group actually doesn’t get along behind the scenes, which doesn’t affect the music necessarily, but it affects DK as a group because of the relationship that fans have with them.
, Lauren Conrad is also on the cover of the November 2008 edition of Cosmopolitan, wearing a ton of blush… or something because I don’t really know a whole lot about makeup.
Now, I like a lot of things for girls – songs, TV, celebrities, but Cosmopolitan takes it a little bit too far for me. I don’t really know how I feel about “BAD GIRL SEX” being right next to the lovely LC’s face on the cover of the magazine, along with all the nympho articles that fill the mag every month.
But then again, clearly, I’m not the target audience.
Anyways, it feels like a slow day with much of the country not working today, so if you’re bored, head over to the Gossip Girls’ snazzy Lauren Conrad Photo Gallery, which is a fun way to burn some time and check out her much loved new extensions.
Circus(due December 2), is officially signaling her real comeback to the music scene.
While it’s just a start, the fact that Britney looks hotter than ever with possibly her catchiest dance track to date has to excite fans and the music industry in general that we could possibly be on the verge of seeing one of the greatest image turnarounds in music history (or maybe not).
Putting aside the ridiculous three MTV Video Music Awards she received at this year’s award show, from the look and sound of the video, “Womanizer” officially and easily makes Circus the most anticipated album for the rest of 2008.
In the video, Britney not only shows that she still has moves, but it shows some focus on her part to get back into shape to appear pretty much completely naked in the video for large parts of it (and I’m not complaining). Trent at Pink is the New Blog said that the video is “TOTAL hawtness!!!!”
