Last night at the American Idol finale, the always stunning Carrie Underwood performed her latest single, the “Before He Cheats” of her Carnival Ride album, “Last Name.” I think this is probably the best Carrie has ever looked on stage!
Some are saying that the judges acted very cold to the most successful American Idol in the show’s history. I didn’t notice anything too rude in particular, but apparently the judges got a lot more excited and gave standing ovations to some of the other performers, while Carrie just got a lukewarm reception from the crew.
Carrie is one of the few Idols who always comes back a couple times a season since her time on the show three seasons ago. She’s not only one of the biggest names in country music, but one of the biggest names in music in general, so I think pairing the two powerhouses creates some pretty great synergy.
Did anyone else notice a certain coldness coming from the judges directed at Carrie? Because I didn’t see it at all.

I don’t think they were cold so much as just distracted by wondering where her pants went.
