In honor of tomorrow night’s second Idol Gives Back, here’s Carrie Underwood’s “I’ll Stand By You,” which was quite possibly the most touching part of last year’s show.
Looking forward to this year’s show, which is definitely one of the best “good” things on television all year.

I’m looking forward to watching tonight - even though my roommate and I will probably just cry through the whole thing.
I shouldn’t have watched this at work - what a gorgeous rendition of “I’ll Stand By You” made even more touching by the visuals.
I’m really happy that Idol started doing this. They have amazing clout and I’m proud that they chose to use it to bring attention to those in need. I’m crossing my fingers that they raise even more this year than they did last year.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH This damn city is too freakin indulgent. Did you see Teri Hatcher butchering Carrie’s song? WTF????
