David Cook dating Lacey Schwimmer? OK! says Yes!
OK! Magazine is reporting that American Idol’s David Cook is dating So You Think You Can Dance’s Lacey Schwimmer in a pairing of FOX reality stars [image courtesy of GirlsTalkinSmack].
Not that David Cook isn’t a good looking guy, but he came up if this turns out to be a true story from the semi-reputable mag because Lacey Schwimmer is all kinds of hot!
Who knows, maybe this will end up being Pop Fiction?
OK! writes,
The mole says that Lacey had never watched Idol before she met David, but after the rehearsal she went home and downloaded all his performances. “She liked him even more after she realized he’s so talented,” our source said.
“He’s gone out after curfew and gone by her apartment and they’ve gone to [Hollywood bakery] Doughboys, which is one of both of their favorite places. She likes the Red Velvet [cake] and he loves it because they serve breakfast all day,” the source says.
“She’s totally falling hard,” they added.
Lacey’s still a bit gun shy about going public with the new romance, opting to sit behind the judges than with the family during Idol tapings.”
As for Hok, Lacey Schwimmer’s apparently now-former boyfriend from So You Think You Can Dance,
“Hawk totally noticed and you could tell he was jealous. He was Lacey’s first boyfriend — her first love — but by the end of the rehearsal Lacey and David exchanged numbers.”
Seeing as OK! spelled Hok’s name wrong likely in hopes of getting this out first, this rumor could be just a rumor, but it is cool that they go to Doughboys because I go there too.
But if it’s true, David Cook, you are even cooler because Lacey Schwimmer could be one of the hottest girls in the world when she’s dancing. Even if it’s not true, it’s probably not a bad rumor to have spread about you.

Heh I like that they spelled that guy’s name wrong but yet they still expect people to believe they got the facts right about the “new couple.”
yeah that is a day destroyer!! but however that article was released on the 16th of april the same day the live american idol results show and the question was asked to david cook, “are you single” and he made it perfectly clear. Yes he was single. so i don’t think i believe the rumors.
I clearly remember he said “yes”. He is available. Dang it! Did he lie again? What a jerk! I am not gonna vote him again. BTW, Lacey, he is not worth. Take me.
Wow, Lacey’s hot! But I can’t stand being jealous because she’s dating my AI fave David Cook. :/ And I would be really disappointed if he lied about him being single. x[

Well he can date who he wants but I think he needs to concentrate on his music after working so hard to win idol. He needs to rest up and then make an album of his incredible musical talent. She does not look like his type to be honest. But if he’s happy then good for him.

i was surprised by this issue of my fave idol dating a so you think you can dance hottie! well, she’s hot, he’s hot, how do you think will that go? i’m a bit jealous ’cause i think it’s too early for an AI winner to date. should concentrate more on his career…
He’s not too serious about anyone right now, I think he’s just playing around a little. He’ll be real busy this summer, so there won’t be a lot of time for a serious relationship, he’s just having fun right now.
